How to Earn in AesirX's Contribute2Earn Community Program

1. Sign Up for the Program

Step 1: Visit the Contribute2Earn Program Page

• Go to: Contribute2Earn Program Page

Step 2: Log In or Sign Up

• Log In: Use your existing Shield of Privacy account credentials.
• Sign Up: Choose one of these methods:
  • Via Web3 Wallet: Connect your Concordium wallet. Create one if you don’t have it.
  • Via Social Media: Sign up using Google, Twitter, Facebook, or Reddit.
  • Via Email and Password: Register with your email address and create a password.

Step 3: Set Up Your Profile

• Complete your profile with the required details.

Step 4: Verify Your Email Address (if applicable)

• If you signed up with an email and password, check your email for a confirmation message and follow the instructions to verify your address. This step is not required for Web3 wallet or social media sign-ups.

Step 2: Find Projects to Contribute To

• AesirX Lib (aesirx-lib): A TypeScript library used in various AesirX projects.
• WordPress Analytics Plugin (wordpress-analytics-plugin): A plugin for integrating AesirX Analytics with WordPress.

• Analytics 1st Party (analytics-1stparty): First-party analytics solutions with a focus on privacy.

3. Contribute to the Project

Step 1: Fork and Clone the Repository:

• Fork the repository of your choice from the GitHub page and clone it to your local machine to start working on your contributions.

Step 2: Make Your Changes:

• Implement improvements, bug fixes, or new features according to the project’s guidelines and your expertise.

Step 3: Submit a Pull Request:

4. Contribute Translations for AesirX Analytics & CMP

AesirX Analytics & Consent Management Platform (CMP) is available on the WordPress repository and currently supports over 10 languages. We’re working to expand this reach even further and need your help to translate our plugin into additional languages. 

By contributing translations, you support our mission to make privacy-compliant technology accessible worldwide and earn rewards for your efforts. 

Step 1: Create a WordPress.org Account

• Visit WordPress.org and create an account if you don’t already have one.

Step 2: Access the Translation Page

• Go to the AesirX Analytics Plugin Translation Page on WordPress.org.

Step 3: Start Translating

• Choose the language you want to translate the plugin into. 
• Follow the instructions provided on the translation page to add your translations. Ensure you cover all relevant sections:
  • Development: Translate the development version.
  • Development Readme: Translate the development readme.
  • Stable: Translate the stable version.
  • Stable Readme: Translate the stable readme.

• Make sure that the progress bars for each section (Development, Development Readme, Stable, Stable Readme) are green and marked as 100%.

5. Request Your Reward

Step 1: Check Pull Request Status

• Ensure your Pull Request or translation submission is accepted.

Step 2: Request Your Reward

• Go to: Contribute2Earn Program Page
• Click on "Add new PR" and enter the link to your merged Pull Request or translation submission. You can add multiple links if needed.
• Click "Submit All PR" to request your rewards.
• Track your Pull Request submissions and reward status on the Contribute2Earn dashboard.
